It has been 3 weeks in DR Congo. There are a few local languages natives use. One of the most popular languages is French. But I don't speak that. In my company's residence, we have a mom who cooks and cleans for us. She can speak Swahili language so I could feel at home. But when I need to communicate with native coworkers, I feel difficulty doing my tasks of course they also do. I thought it is really a big problem for me to work at my company but now I have started speaking broken French and Lingala to get me through it. I could not express what I wanted to say in French or Lingala even thought I do not know where and how did I learn, I am speaking some sound maybe like French and surprisingly they are understanding my sound, a little more than before.
